Evi Martyn (born Evi Giannatou) is a celebrated internationally known Concert pianist who has distinguished herself by the sponsorship of the State Department and Endowment of the Fine Arts in the United States.
She is also an exciting recording artist, lecturer, author, and master teacher.
Her books, include “Anthology of Piano Literature” a unique compilation of select and choice compositions of in depth study, programmed for the academic musicians as well as the serious listeners.
The author of “The Art of Piano Playing”, a comprehensive manual, emphasizing fundamental principals as well as views and suggestions to teachers and students.
Her world tours include concerts, seminars, lectures and numerous Radio and Television appearances.
One of her most recent books, “The Root of the Evil” published in the U.S.A. and Europe has become a Best Seller in her native Greece, now on its third edition.
Another recent book is “Captain Philip Markopoulos, A Patton’s Hero” , a fantastic second world war biography of the heroics of her late husband.
